AI & MCP

A shared workspace. For you and your agent.

Hikari is AI-native through a comprehensive Model Context Protocol interface. Your agent works with the open project through the same editor services that power the UI.

01 / Comprehensive by design

Context. Creation. Inspection.

MCP reaches beyond scene transforms. Agents can inspect project state, author scene and asset documents, and use viewport feedback to check their work.

Scenes, with understanding.
Inspect actors and component schemas. Create scenes, edit prefabs, and apply coordinated changes.
A complete authoring workflow.
Create and import assets. Author materials, animation graphs, and particle systems through structured tools.
Beyond the viewport.
Work with project settings, plugins, gameplay tags, and asset import options.
See what changed.
Position the camera, frame a subject, capture the rendered viewport, and inspect console output.
02 / Connect your agent

One project. One connection.

The MCP server belongs to the editor and the project you have open. Enable it there, then add its generated configuration to your preferred agent client.

  1. Enable MCP in the editor

Open Editor Settings → MCP, check Enabled, and confirm the settings.

  2. Copy the client configuration

Use Copy configuration in the MCP panel. It includes the local server URL and your project’s authentication token.

  3. Add it to your agent

Paste the configuration into your client’s MCP settings. Keep the editor and the project open while the agent works.
