Availability
The engine, the editor, and the toolchain stay inside the studio. This website shows the work; it does not ship a build you can run.
There is no public repository to clone.
What you can do today
Look through the renderer, the editor, and the tools. The documentation describes the current engine, not a product you can install.
The engine pages and the documentation are public.
Early private access
If you think Hikari could be useful for your process, you can request early private access.
A short note about your work is enough. Access is limited, and we cannot promise a place.
Licence
We have committed to open-sourcing Hikari in the future. What applies today, and that commitment, are on the licence page.
Until we publish a new grant, the engine remains proprietary.
